Customer Support Specialist
Customer Support Specialist - for one of the nation`s premier strategic solution providers of information technology products and enterprise services. Office located in Staten Island, NY, minutes from the Verrazano Bridge. The PositionWe are seeking a high-energy person, organized, and with great follow up skills. Experience in technology industry is strongly desired. The preferred candidate should possess experience working for a reseller or computer technology firm in an inside sales, computer support, or related capacity. You will be responsible for order processing and interacting with distributors and manufacturers. In addition, you will be acting as a point of contact for customers, suppliers and internal departments to establish, develop and maintain quality relationships for ongoing customer satisfaction. Proficiency with the tools and functions to support the order life cycle is necessary. This is not a hands-on technical support position.
This is a Full Time Position with Benefits: Medical/Dental/Prescription + 401k, Paid Holidays, Vacation and Sick Time.Salary + commission. The Requirements·
Order processing experience strongly desired ·
Experience dealing with vendors ·
Ability to coordinate customer project related activities ·
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills ·
Excellent phone skills required·
Customer service focus·
Experience in the IT industry, preferably with a VAR- A plus·
Working knowledge of email, Internet, MS Word, Excel required
